Last week to check out the Bird Brained exhibit at The Dahmen Barn

Bird Brained Mourning Dove by Susan Segoto Date: March 6 - March 27 "A fun lighthearted exhibit features fun bird-themed art in a variety of mediums. In these crazy times and coming out of a pandemic when the world feels like it is in a disarray this exhibit will surely make you chuckle. Just a few of the examples of works on display are bird whistles created from ceramic, birds created from paper and fine oil paintings of eagles." Latah Trail

The 12-mile trail between Moscow and Troy was completed in October 2008. It is a fully paved, 10-foot wide trail intended for use by pedestrians, bicyclists, in-line skaters, wheel-chair operators, cross-country skiers and others with non-motorized transportation. In August 2009, Latah County acquired ownership of the old rail bed continuing 4 miles southeast of Troy. This next section of trail is currently an unimproved gravel/rock pathway that follows Bear Creek. When this is paved, it will provide an unbroken, 30 mile path from Pullman to Juliaetta. http://www.traillink.com/trail-maps/latah-trail.aspx Perimeter Drive, Moscow, ID 83843 to Troy, ID 83871

When Stacia Morin founded Nez Perce Tourism in spring 2019, her vision was to provide exclusive opportunities for visitors to walk alongside the Nimiipuu people, learning their ancient and modern ways of life and embracing the spirit of their homelands. There is plenty of terrain to explore; You can start here, in the 2 Degrees Northwest region and explore endlessly across Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana and Wyoming. Speaking to me on Zoom while welcoming customers to the Nez Perce Traditions gift shop in Lewiston, making preparations for a cultural education event, and overseeing a team processing 14 big boxes of [...]
