Surrounded by 360 degree sky views, rolling hills and the quiet of nature, Hunter Moon Homestead is a 23 acre paradise in the Palouse offering short stays in rustic luxury accommodations, event hosting, micro weddings and all-inclusive creative art, writing and healing retreats. Since 2018 owners Rick and Kate Poole have been lovingly restoring the 100+ year old homestead, including converting the grain barn into what is now affectionately called the “Bee House Studio,” named for the ancient beehives that were found in the walls.
Hunter Moon Homestead offers a unique creative space, surrounded by natural beauty, for those in need of rejuvenation and inspiration. Guests are invited to stay in one of three pond side cabins or canvas glamping tents. Retreat and workshop guests are treated to gourmet farm-to-table meals made with organic produce grown on site, while vacation rentals include a homemade breakfast. Enjoy a sunset ride in the canoe, kick back in a hammock and listen to the active bird life or join your friends at the campfire for stories and S’mores.
